What a good book! Mr. DeGornick has a way of holding your attention in his stories. Hard to imagine a person being so demented that they would create an inescapable fortress and then go to such great length to kidnap s beautiful young lady. Katie is a strong lady but doesnâ€™t realize how strong she is until her fight or flight instincts take over. Highly recommend this book and author.
When down on her luck Katie is offered a job house sitting in a creepy house with an even creepier owner she doesn't have any other option but to take the job. It doesn't take long though for her to realise there is something desperately wrong and that the job just might cost her far more than she could ever imagine! The plot twists were amazing in this story, just when I thought there was no way out the author provides a zinger that gave me hope! The paranormal elements of this story were an added bonus. I certainly plan on reading more from this author!
Another great read by the author! Katie ignores her creep factor because she is having a hard time getting by. Wow! The things she endured are insane! Great job
